Weekend Wrap Up : Another Basketball Tournament

Hey guys!

I hope everyone survived Monday. We had a super busy weekend.... like always.

Friday night started with an out of town basketball game.

Oh you know just a car selfie because why not.

The hubs wearing green in a sea of black.

So 7 out of the next 9 days we will be at basketball games. #coacheswife #busylady

So what does one do late Friday night?? Go grocery shopping.

I did happen to find these cute mugs at Wal-Mart.

So Saturday morning found me cooking some muffins (again) for the boys.

Not the prettiest picture but I was walking out to the truck while trying to take this. #wifefail

I found my IPOD the other day and took it on the bus ride on Saturday morning.

Still pulling double duty so I don't get the greatest pictures

Thanks to modern technology the hubs was able to watch the UT game in between games.

We then left and went to Ad's sister's basketball game.

Two of my favorite people.

Sunday was a busy day around the house. Between cleaning, laundry, and catching up on grad school reading.

Ad made this hat rack last year and it has been sitting around our house. So I asked made him hang it in the bathroom. One of our friends made us these towels that say "hers" and "his" for our wedding shower. I think it looks great.

We ended the weekend cooking dinner together and watching Downton Abbey.

It is going to be another busy week in the Greenfield house. I will try to do better about blogging!

I hope everyone has a fantastic week :)

Stress

Hey guys! One more work day.... We CAN make it!

Everyone has stress in their life and today was one of those days where I sit down at my desk and cried for a couple of minutes. #truth

It is so sad to admit but sometimes things just build up and up and at a certain point I don't handle all of the stress very well.

What has me so stressed out one might think?

1. Work
2. Graduate School
3. Research Class
4. Basketball
5. My not so clean house
6. Stressing because I am stressing

I might have told this to my co-worker yesterday and she just laughed.

Social work = Documentation
(Random: Who owns those big computer monitors anymore??)

The good thing is I know there is a light at the end of the tunnel. I have to learn how to deal with my daily stress better. I am 100 % aware that my problems are so insignificant compared to what others go through daily.

One thing that helps me get through times like I had to today is to play this song over and over. It might be older but it is still as relevant to me today as it was the day it was released.

This helps me get through school daily.

I was raised to work hard and not be a quitter and I hope through my actions my children can learn that same lesson one day.

I do LOVE what I do and that helps make the bad days not so bad.

Well wasn't that so heart warming. Ugh, sorry to unload my bad day on everyone.

On a happy note I got to be there to watch my main man coach his 7th grade boys tonight.

Still pulling double duty so I don't get the greatest pictures.

This is me on Monday night at the game. It was half time so I decided to read my Southern Living.
I Love Love Love that magazine

Then dinner tonight after the game at DQ #thatisnotwhatilikeaboutTexas

Anyway, I hope everyone has a great Friday!

Weekend Wrap- Up: Best Friend Edition

Hey guys!

I had a great weekend of doing pretty much nothing :)

Basketball games filled our Friday night and like the good wife I am I took no pictures. #wifefail

On Saturday the hubs left to go to the pig sale.

Me and Ad's sister five years ago, before the pig sale.

While he was gone I cleaned, did laundry, read a book, took a nap, caught up on some TV. I really didn't do much. I did go out to the track and walk. It was sooo nice out this weekend and how could you not go out and enjoy the sun.

Out at the track. So beautiful.

On Sunday morning I met with my BFF, Tiffany in Brownwood for lunch and some much needed girl time.

Once again I failed and did not take any pictures of our time together but here are some that show our friendship. I met Tiffany when I was four and she was five. My grandmother was a florist and the flower shop was right next to Tiffany's dad's shop. We hit it off immediately and became best of friends. We have been through so much together and words cannot express how much her friendship means to me.

Us at the Miss Rising Star Contest in 2009

Us at a golf tournament in 2009. One thing about us.... we were are terrible at golf but we played anyway because any reason to get a day out of school. #duh

Picture days = a day to goof off and get out of class because we were on the Yearbook Staff

Graduation 2010

HPU Graduation May 2013 - My friends came to see me graduate with my BSW

The night I got engaged I saw this girl! She was the one I called the night before I thought I was going to get engaged. I will have to blog about that sometime. Needless to say this was a very happy day and I am glad I got to share it with my BFF.

She even deals with my crazy at my wedding shower.

My Maid of Honor

All of us girls at the wedding reception.

Night of the wedding. We are just hanging out by the pool

All of us girls. So Ad and I didn't do "normal" and leave straight to a honeymoon. Instead we all ended up at the same hotel for the night and hung out most of the night in the pool and hot tub. It was a different way to spend the night but we will always remember how special our friends made us feel.

Me and Tiffany's amazing son. I love this little boy more than I can express.

December 2014

So we spent the day eating and shopping. It was great!

I got home and the hubs and I made dinner and watched some football even though our Cowboys weren't playing.

I gained a lot of respect for Russell Wilson during that game and his post game speeches.

Today I don't have work but today grad school starts back for me. #bringonthestress

I am going to need a therapist to get through learning to be a therapist.

This morning Ad left his computer at home and I had to take it to the school to him. Well I was not at all ready to leave the house but knew he needed it soon so I put on cap and called it a day.

My hat is one that Ad got from a pig show in Iowa. It has Linder Feed on it and if you don't know what that is..... it is pig feed. #gofigure

Anyway one great thing about living in a small town is that after I dropped off the computer at the school I ran to the post office and while I was in there I met an old man who said that he liked that I knew what Linder Feed is. Who knew I would have made a new friend at the post office this morning due to my hat.

We have a game tonight so I am off to bake the boys some cookies. I will try to take some pictures tonight...... well maybe.

Anyway, I hope everyone has a great day!

Friday Favorites: TV Edition

Hey guys!

I am lat posting this AGAIN...... blame the hubs and the out of town game tonight. #coacheswife

Can I just say how EXCITED I am that the weekend is here!

For my Friday Favorites I am linking up with Andrea , Narci , and Erika.

For my Friday Favorites I am going to show you guys my FAVORITE TV shows. So I am going to be honest here and say that I am a TV JUNKIE. I watch too many tv shows, but there are some that I cannot miss! I love everything from crime dramas to reality tv.

Sunday Nights start with two great shows!

I know this is an old picture but I just LOVED Will. This show is great and so intense.

I mean who doesn't love this show. Even the Hubby watches with me #winning

Every night we watch THE FIVE

This is a really good season!

I am NOT a mav's fan but I do enjoy Mark Cuban.

This is an "oldie" but I still watch it each week.

This is a show we have watched since the start and still love it.

If you haven't seen this show yet I highly recommend it. It comes back on Feb. 23rd.

I found this show on Netflix one day and loved it. Too bad it was canceled :(

I know it looks like all I do is watch TV but most of the time I have a show on listening to it, while I do housework.

I also like to take some time during the week to sit and relax with the hubs and watch a show together. It is nice to take a break during our everyday busy life to just enjoy some down time.

What are some shows that you are watching that I need to check out??

I hope everyone has a great weekend!
