Weekend Wrap Up: A Whole Lot of Nothing

Happy Monday friends!

I am linking up with Nicole at The Falcons Nest , who is also a fellow coaches wife, for the first link up of Weekend Wrap Up.

I hope everyone had a great weekend. Not much went on in the Greenfield house this weekend. From now until the end of the school year we do not have one free weekend! This time of year always gets very busy in-between my mom's birthday, brother's birthday, Easter, track meets, prom, work trainings, and graduation we are booked up.

Now on to our last free weekend for the foreseeable future :)

All day Saturday I was working and Adrain went home to the Farm to pick up his sister, Blaise, so she could come spend some time with us! It is always great when we can spend time together. She was so young when Adrian and I started dating and I have been able to watch her grow up into a beautiful girl.

On Sunday Adrian made us breakfast and then we went up to the gym to shoot around. I have the most amazing husband, he wrapped my feet because he knows that my old school basketball shoes from my freshmen year give me baddddd blisters!

He is a keeper!

Adrian working with Blaise..... I don't know if it is a blessing or a curse to have your brother as a coach but either way these two work well together and I cannot wait to see how she does in high school next year.

I then took a much needed nap while Adrain and Blaise went to town to get more tomato plants for his garden. You will soon see how much my husband loves his garden and how much I love eating all the yummy fresh tomatoes that comes from it.

After a nap, Blaise and I headed back to R Star. It was a pretty uneventful weekend but that is okay with me!

Friday Favorites

Yay for Friday!

Once again it is time for my Friday Favorites. Today I am linking up with ErikaAndrea and Narci for Friday Favorites.

It has been a busy but fun week in the Greenfield's house. I hope everyone is looking forward to a great weekend. I know I am :)

FAVORITE picture from T's birthday. They got cake all over each other.

This girl!

My FAVORITE Facebook post of the week. I have the sweetest friends!

We got a new bed and I am IN LOVE with it. They even put two mints on there. This was my FAVORITE thing to happen on Monday!

I am so happy that a Schlotzsky's has opened close 20 miles from my house. Their pizza is my FAVORITE

Very proud and FAVORITE moment from yesterday. Evant advanced to bi-district in One Act Play and this girl got ALL STAR CAST!

One of my FAVORITE things to do is to advocate for those without a voice. This is just a small way to do it.

My sweet friend tagged me in a scripture challenge, so here is my scripture for Day 2:

"Commit to the LORD whatever you do, and your plans will succeed."

Proverbs 16:3 (NIV)

Have a great weekend!

Thinking Out Loud Thursday: Family

Hey guys!

Only two more days till the weekend! Yesterday I had a community resource meeting and got to show off my green for Cerebral Palsy Awareness Day. Thank you Katie at The Mishaps and Mayhem of a Solitary Life for giving everyone the heads up about it on Instagram!

Car Selfie for the win

Today I am linking up with Vanessa at X-Tremely V  and Penny at Penny's Passion for Thinking Out Loud Thursday.

I have been doing a lot of thinking about family and how you do not have to be "blood" related to be a part of a family. We are currently loving on a sweet sweet girl who is not blood related to us but she is a part of our family! Today she is competing in One Act Play and I could not be prouder of her!

So last night we went over to one of the other coaches home, " the C family", and celebrated a special guy's birthday. You learn early on as a coach and a coaches wife that you become VERY attached to the sweet kids your husband is with for hours upon hours with. T and Ty are two of those kids!

I told Ty that this was going to be my "go to" summer outfit. Not the greatest picture but no one accused me of being on top of the fashion trends!

The chips were "Texas" shaped and I could not find one so I attempted to make my own.
Not two seconds later did Ty find a whole Texas. #Imighthavestruggledthroughgeography

The guys made pork ribs, beef ribs, pork chops, and hot dogs (just for me as I don't eat ribs)

My girl Ty

And this was my dinner. Hot Dog, Ham, Rice, and a tortilla. I promise it was yummy!

T on his birthday!

This girl :)

I happen to really love this guy!

Ad got the smart idea to get cake all over T's face.

T got him back :)

By far my favorite picture. :)

"Let them eat cake"

When we got home (rather late) Ty and I stated up and baked (from scratch) Chocolate Chip Cookies. Too bad I failed at taking a picture of them!

We did put together this tub full of goodies including the cookies for the cast and crew today at District One Act Play.

There was so much stuff in this thing! I hope the kids love it.

Last night my sweet friend tagged me in this post on Facebook and it made me cry! Love you girl!

So my scripture for Day 1 is:

"He has showed you, O man, what is good. And what does the LORD require of you?
To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God."

Micah 6:8

Weekend Wrap Up: Is it already Monday?

Hey guys!

It is Monday again and I feel like the weekend went by wayyyyyyy too fast. It was a cold rainy one for us here in Evant.

I left Friday morning to go to Seguine and camp on the Guadalupe River with some of the families from my job.

It was very pretty and nice it just rained a little too much!

I didn't get to take a lot of pictures but it was a very nice relaxing place.

I might be from the country but I'm very picky and I don't enjoy camping so I got myself a hotel room. #don'tjudge

I got home just in time to go with Ty to get her sr. pictures done. We went to the middle of NOWHERE and got some amazing pictures.

I am so thankful for these ladies!

I had some work to do on Sunday and spent ALL day driving all around the state.

I am in Love with God's beautiful creation.

Adrian was back in Rising Star all weekend working Cows so we didn't do much this weekend. This weekend went wayyyy to fast for me and I am not ready for this week to start.

We have two track meets and One Act Play contest this week and A LOT of grad school work due. It will be a busy one in the Greenfield house.

I hope everyone has a great week!

Friday Favorites: Randomness

Yay for Friday!

Today I am linking up with Narci , Erika, and Andrea for Friday Favorites.

On Monday this girl learned how to make enchalads

Turned out yummy :)

only this coach's wife gets her bff's son these shirts for his birthday

Monday night I made rice crispy treats for the teachers

Then on Tuesday a sweet teacher and fellow coach's wife posted this on Facebook

She is so kind and doing these things for these people who do so much for the young kids is one of my favorite things!

This girl is too much. She is just my favorite. XOXO

I made one of my favorite gift baskets for a silent auction this week.

Got an extra copy of this for Ad and I

This is on my list to read now.

By far my FAVORITE of the week! This new tray and sing I found this week. I love it on my coffee table.

Well I am off to go camping (yikes!)

I hope everyone has a great weekend!
