Christmas Trip Part 2

Okay after 1586347614 days I am finally posting the second part of our Christmas trip.

I must say that I am officially IN LOVE with Charleston. Incase you missed part one you can read it here

We arrived late Saturday night and went straight to the hotel.

Sunday morning we got up and went downtown to take a walking tour. We saw so much and learned so much form our guide during this tour. I would recommend this to anyone!

Cobble Stone Streets... LOVE

Beautiful Church.

I loved the homes

I just thought this gate was cute.

This house is on the market. It is way cute and I would love to move.
The only problem is it is 7.5 MILLION dollars. YIKES!

Beautiful view at the harbor.

They are redoing this building right now but it is one of the oldest buildings in the city.

We then headed out to brunch.
I did not touch the girts. #sorrynotsorry
We then walked around the market and went back to the hotel for a couple of hours as we were tired!

We had a great dinner out on the harbor.
Fleet Landing was soo good!

He cleans up nice :)

On Monday we headed out to a Plantation House.

Love the trees

We walked around the property and saw the slave houses. It was so interesting to see.

These are some of the artifacts found at these homes.
It was a great reminder.

This house is where Blake Livley and Ryan Reynolds got married and it is also the future Greenfield home. #ijoke
We don't need 25 bedrooms or do we?

They had a very pretty garden.

Sadly we didn't get to take pictures inside but let me tell you it was amazing.

We were driving around and these Church doors were so cute!

Adrian bought me two roses from kids that were making these from palm leaves.

We headed out on a boat to go see Fort Sumter
While planning this trip Adrian said all he wanted to go do was to go see Fort Sumter, so we went.
#heisateacher #helovehistory

We arrived

First time to see the atlantic ocean.

He got me some sea shells

Me: "Adrian go stand there so I can get your picture at the entrance"
Adrian: "Really, how old do you think I am?"

These cannons were huge

Me: "Stand here"
Adrian: "Why"

It was such a neat place to go and see where the Civil War started.

This guy though. He is the sweetest for driving me all around just so we could have some great days together and help me see a part of this country!

Monday night we ate out at another restaurant on the harbor but it wasn't as good and I have no picture. #ifail

Tuesday morning we got up early and headed to a local favorite, the marina and got some yummy breakfast before we hit the road.

This is what I did most of the truck ride home.

Crossing the Mississippi.

We stayed Tuesday night in Vicksburg, Mississippi and once again I took zero pictures.

We made it home around 7 pm on Wednesday. This was a very quick trip but it was a great trip. I honestly cannot express how amazing it was and how much fun I had with my main man. I will not forget this trip!

I can't wait until our next adventure.

Thanks for hanging in with me :)

XOXO ~ JulieAnn
